Leather types and origin
Stefan Eckert uses both exclusive Python and high-quality lamb leather for his small leather goods. The designer purchases the leather exclusively from France and Germany. All leather goods produced by Stefan Eckert are made exclusively from by-products and waste products from the food industry. These include lamb, deer, elk, ostrich and python.
Processing
Stefan Eckert produces all small leather goods exclusively in Germany and in cooperation with a manufacturer specializing in high-quality small leather goods. The processing techniques are based on the fine art of tailoring and are executed in precise manual work.
Sustainability
Since the founding of his eponymous label in 2009, Stefan Eckert has been practicing a sustainable corporate form. His vision of sustainability for the Hamburg fashion entrepreneur consists of two pillars – the responsibility towards man and nature.
