For your personal custom-made garment, visit us at our Hamburg store in HafenCity. We will first drape your chosen design in cotton on your body. Then, together with you, we will check the look and freedom of movement. Once the try-on piece fits you perfectly, a pattern will be created for your custom-made garment. This will serve as a template for your garment and any future custom orders. Finally, you will choose your desired color from the swatches of our French and German leather suppliers.

"Vegan leather" is a misleading term in itself. The materials may be visually similar to leather. However, in terms of quality and durability, they are not even remotely comparable to real leather. In contrast, the process used by Stefan Eckert is a recycling of natural materials in the best sense. Accordingly, waste products from the food industry are transformed into an ecological and durable raw material through the skillful and sustainable processing of tanners. This then forms the basis for Stefan Eckert's leather jackets, which, for example, last a lifetime.

Stefan Eckert's principle is that no animal dies for the production of its leather. Therefore, the designer exclusively uses leather that is a by-product of the food industry, out of deep conviction. This means that the leather used by Stefan Eckert is exclusively artfully processed recycled material.

Sustainability in the Production of the Collection Pieces

Stefan Eckert rejects production in low-wage countries. This step is primarily due to the not always transparent working conditions. The certainty of this is essential for the fashion designer. All collection pieces by Stefan Eckert are exclusively made in his in-house studio in Hamburg. All work steps are carried out by Stefan Eckert's qualified specialist staff. In addition, the fashion designer trains new members of his studio team in a three-year apprenticeship as a tailor.

No Animal Cruelty for Leather at Stefan Eckert

Stefan Eckert's principle is that no animal dies for the production of his leather. Therefore, the designer exclusively uses leather that is a by-product of the food industry, out of deep conviction. Thus, the leather used by Stefan Eckert is exclusively artfully processed recycled material.

Selection of Suppliers

Stefan Eckert works with a network of sustainably oriented suppliers for the procurement of his materials, accessories, and packaging. The selection of his business partners is based on specific criteria. For example, the reduction of unnecessarily long transport routes is a very central point. This makes an important contribution to environmental protection. In addition to the proximity of the suppliers to the Hamburg location, the high quality standard of the goods and their sustainable production methods are further factors. Accordingly, Stefan Eckert constantly monitors current market developments and is in continuous contact with his suppliers regarding new innovative products.

Durable and High-Quality Products

To preserve the planet, waste production must be urgently reduced. The fashion industry can make a significant contribution to this. Stefan Eckert implements this approach with his leather jackets, whose durability is designed for a lifetime. With his modern classics, the designer thus offers an option for conscious and sustainable consumption.
